Race to Zero: Transitions for a Low Carbon Economy

Make a Difference Travel and MAD Earth are running a low carbon transition workshop called Race to Zero, which teaches participants how to use Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) En Roads carbon simulator.

The workshop features MITs visual Artificial Intelligence system that world leaders used to negotiate carbon laws and deals such as the Paris Climate Treaty in 2015 and in recent COP preparations.

Based on our engagements with academe and corporate sector, there is still a big gap in environmental education that can help them decide on their carbon waste, which can help the Philippines fight against climate change.

In the light of rising temperatures and heatwaves, followed by devastating storms and flood of 2024, MAD is running workshops to empower academe, corporations and governement officials to make better decisions about carbon waste.

Our first collaborator and host is Ateneo Institute of Sustainability.

We would like to partner with other thought leaders so that we can run the same Carbon simulation workshops to increase practical knowledge of a low carbon economy transition. The workshop can add value to organizations that are scaling, building and re-tooling as they enter into a climate-changed landscape.

If you are interested, please request a call where we can present this program and partnership opportunity for the betterment of our country, and for humanity.
